Area Information for Rolesville, North Carolina
Considered the second oldest town in Wake County, Rolesville is a beautiful North Carolina community with a focus on family and community.
Nowhere is that more evident than in the town’s recent comprehensive land-use plan, which stresses the importance of careful planning and growth to preserve the community’s rural charm.
The Wake County town was incorporated in January 1837. It was named after William H. Roles who was a local land owner, merchant, cotton broker, and postmaster.
Rolesville’s development is rooted in its farming history, although the community has become much more than that over the years.
